I think the skipper the uses Cannas is the Brazilian Skipper.
I never heard of Butterfly Bush being a larval host, but it is a good nectar host plant if you are not concerned about whether it is native or not.
I don't use it because it is not native and because it is listed as an invasive in Texas. Smiling
