Elaine ,I understand. Maybe the constant mild and warm temps bring problems.Here at least the winter freezes take care of a lot of problems except mildew on Phlox.I dont mind the look of it in late summer.
Its great that your Lowes plants do well. We have so many garden stores in this area ,I just make other choices.
