This may not be news to anyone else but it's definitely the coolest thing I learned today. When you get those very fine hair-like cactus needles in your fingers, the ones you can practically not even see with the naked eye? A young man at the Botanical Garden where I work told me this morning (after I got some from a Prickly Pear fruit) to rub my finger through my hair.... it instantly took the sting away!!
