Liz - take my advice on cutting the bottoms off the pots. Use a jig saw or saws all. Don't do it with snips by hand. BIG pain in the patookie. Use gloves & eye protection (sometimes the blade shatters, sometimes the plastic shatters). The bigger the pot, the easier it is. What I've done is raid Tagawa Gardens' pot takeback containers for larger containers. You can buy them too, if you need to. I know that Nick's Nursery sells them, but since old man Nick died, I've been disappointed with them because they literally doubled their prices. I don't think I bought anything from them this year at all. Now O'Tooles.. *sigh* love that place.. just sooooooooooo far away! Not to mention Timberline Gardens.. clear across the whole city!! The one O'Tooles is like on 100th & Wads & Timberline is like off of 46th & .. Kipling? Ward? Something WAAAAAAAAY out west. Practically in Golden.
Roses are one of my passions! Just opened, my Etsy shop (to fund my rose hobby)! http://www.etsy.com/shop/Tweet...
