I'm curious about other people who grow this plant. I find its history interesting but the plant is thoroughly nasty! Living in PA I obviously cannot leave it outdoors all year. But dragging it in and out is a pain - literally! Plus, once inside for the winter, it drops virtually every leaf, making a mess and looking pretty sorry until spring when I painfully move it back outside so I can ignore it! I'm planning to move to NC in the next year and I'm doubtful this thorny friend will make the move!
