Liz, yes I have been to the UofM Peony garden. It’s a great collection. I think that they have an annual sale as well.
Also, consider MSU Hidden Lake Gardens in Tipton, MI. Great dwarf and rare conifer collection and a Hosta Collection. It’s probably a 40-45 minute drive from A2.
