porkpal, thanks for letting me know that the Austin roses can grow taller than listed in warmer climates. I did not know that.

zuzu, I've spent hours looking at the different roses. Here are the contenders,

Jude the Obscure
Golden Celebration
Charlotte
Charles Darwin

These 4 roses are similar in color to mine. The only one that comes up as thornless is Jude the Obscure. I've also been on the Austin website looking at the roses there as well. They did not list if the plants were thornless or not. My rose does have long canes, and the flowers do fade from the original color to an almost sandy-cream. I'll have to pay more attention to the scent when it blooms this spring.
