Just discovered the Coleus forum a few weks ago & skimmed thru 2013. You all have some beautiful plants.
When I lived in HI 20+years back I had Coleus "trees" outside my front door. They were amazing. I kept pinching off the blooms & they kept getting fuller & taller.
I'm not good on the "real" names. I do keep the tags but they tend to get burried under the plants. Every year i say I'm going to get better at recording what I have.......maybe this year!!!!

We had an unusually bad freeze (worst nite was 27 for over 12 hrs) last week. I have a "watermellon" coleus. Grows low to the ground and spreads out. Small leaves w/curly edge. I took cuttings & then dumped 2 bags of leaves on top of the center of the plant. I am happy to report the center of the plant seems to be fine. The 2 other NOIDs I have I coverd with lg trash cans. Not sure of their fate (but I have cuttings). They dropped their leaves but the stems appear to be OK. Time will tell.
Blessed are the Quilters for they are the Piecemakers.
