I did think about that. There will also be some morning glory vines on that fence because they have been there for years and some seeds always fall. No matter which fence I put them on they will get some shade either from the west or south. Not a lot, but some. I have a couple places where the tomatoes would get full sun but they never seem to do well in them. It is frustrating to say the least. Our soil is heavy black clay that doesn't drain well and is hard as a rock when it gets dry. It is called black gumbo.
