The lantanas and salvias I have growing survive as perennials here. But some salvias I won't grow...those that need an easier climate than I have here. Right now, there's 2 Red Admirals hanging around and the other day there was an American Lady also. I'm putting out old fruit and jelly for them and also for the bees (who are also getting a 1:1 nectar mix). And the hummingbird feeder for the single Rufous hummingbird. My remaining blooms are gone, thanks to the polar fronts. So sad!
I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority. E. B.White
Integrity can never be taken. It can only be given, and I wasn't going to give it up to these people. Gary Mowad
