yes, have that talk, those elders knew more than we do about such things and get that DIL out planting a winter crop! LOL
My preggie days are long gone too.
My grandmother always planted by the farmers almanac. It was her bible and that woman could grow anything, she had to, no husband and 5 kids to feed during the depression. They are grew up healthy too! Amazing. Her daughter, my mother is still alive and will be 90 in January. She always makes me plant society garlic in the rose bed.
