Actually, I don't think it really was a good siting. This drought thing is messing up their normal migration pattern. This is true for other wildlife, too.
The bears are coming out of hibernation early and other animals I never see in January are out and about.
We usually have a late January thaw, but this year plants are leafing out more and trees seem to be coming out of dormancy already.
I usually do my serious cleaning, now, too, but have had to be out in the garden because the weeds are jumping out of the ground even tho' the temps are still cold and I am still having day fires to heat the house.
I think I am more worried than over-joyed.
