Sharon: Thanks for the tip. I'll try that with my Rooguchi and see if I can get some slips to share next year. My Rooguchi is planted against a trellis with the red, no-name rose which came from Big Lots. DH bought it and some others for $1 several years ago and I have no idea what its name is. It's a deep red, though. The Guernsey Cream I will order for delivery and planting this fall.

Other Angie: keep in touch with me on my success (or lack of) in this regard. If it works, I'll send you a new plant!
