Good idea...years ago my mother made "daylily fritters" with the flowers... I hated them at the time! But that could have been the way she cooked too (she was not a good cook!).
So we want to cultivate daylilies for garden vegs....I realize that this article gives details on the ditch lily, old fashioned style...but wondering about new varieties? Not so worried about absolute details for nutritional facts, just...as long as they are edible, not toxic...anyone know for sure? If they are not toxic then a good way to use up those ugly seedlings...and yes, they do happen! I'm all ears!
