I'm definitely gonna have to try epsom salts this year as I really need to bulk up my poor roses! What I don't understand is why so many people are against using MiracleGro because it "puts salt into the soil", but what's the difference between that & putting Epsom salts? I figure that since I'm so magnesium deficient myself, why not give some to the roses too?
