Wish I were closer, Jewell, I'd take on your J. map. I've planted several here and there among my native evergreens in my wild areas and they make quite a nice surprise splash. I have a cousin who sells mature J.M.s and he uses me as a dumping ground for his 'scratch-n-dent' trees - some are near dead, others misshapoen, still others just too small for his liking. Some have reverted from their intended form to plain janes, some have just bit the dust, most are thriving. It's been a fun bonus.
