Great to hear from you, Leon! Glad to know my dates matched yours. You always seem to get a little more snow and fewer degrees than we do, but even so, they are years to remember. Maybe someday we will forget the white knuckled moments.

I'll be adding a couple more pictures to the blog later today, the birds came in flocks this morning and they didn't care who ate beside them, no discrimination at all. The doves and what I think are starlings along with juncos and chickadees with the resident cardinals and a squirrel or two in the mix. If only I could understand what their chatter is all about!

Yes, we do love our cardinals, not so much the squirrels!!
