I have only posted twice to All Things Plants, so I'm not sure if this is where one responds to a response!
Cem9165: "molly the witch" is one of my favorites... partly because it made me wait so long to see it bloom more than a couple blossoms! But once it really got going - worth the wait. Foilage is nice until freeze-up and the seed pods look like flowers themselves. It has never produced viable seeds but this spring I plan
to try pollinating it myself and see if I can get some fertile seeds. New purchases last fall: America, Athena, Attar of Roses, Cora Stubbs, Ed Flynn, Fancy Nancy, Gardenia, Kansas, Marietta Sisson, Mr. Ed, Mrs.FDR, Phillpe Revoire, Pink Princess, Tish, and Vivid Rose. also a 2nd Gay Paree. Tish is the one I am particularly looking forward to seeing in bloom! This is a close-up of "molly".
