I bought a tiny p. mlokosewitschii last fall. It'll probably be 4-5 years before I see many blooms on mine, if it survived the winter. I was very slow to jump on the yellow bandwagon, just sounded unnatural to me--peonies are supposed to be red, white or pink! Then I started seeing pictures posted by forum members and realized how beautiful they were, HOOKED!

So Annette, I was looking back through last spring's posts and pics and saw you had Lois's Choice. Did that one flower for you last year? If so, what did you think? I'd love to hear how it does 2nd year, too! That's one I was thinking about for last fall but got Summer Glow instead, now I'm second guessing my decision......Do you also have Lemon Chiffon? Think I saw that one mentioned in the same string. If so, same questions! It looks incredible in some pictures, well worth the price, but not so great in others. Would love to hear a gardener's opinion rather than just the blurb from the seller....

We had more snow over the last few days, my poor Christmas deer are still lying frozen to the ground, I'm thinking: Spring WILL Come??????
