I googled also to see if I could find a pic of a ripe one. No luck. I did read where the female opens before the mail to prevent self pollination, which is what got me wondering since these were from two different plants and open at different times. Would have been fun to grow out but I'am thinking no seeds here.
Hopefully Lariann will chime in tho, would be nice to get a little more info.
