Kelli, I dabble in hybridizing, too. My first crosses were so ugly that I thought I was a failure at it. Hilarious!

But -as time marches on- the chances of getting a decent-looking bloom improves, so I'm never giving up.

I have lots of seedlings from my own crosses as well as a few from seeds I won online.

I balk at paying $100 for a new plant, so bidding on seed crosses bearing the new ones is the best way to introduce them into my, rather, ho-hum garden.

I have started all my seeds indoors for the coming season and I'm currently 'baby-ing' them until I can transfer them outside. That should be in a couple months.

I encourage you to keep doing crosses....and add a new plant into the mix every now and then....you'll be happily surprised one day! Thumbs up
