Thanks LIn. The hawks raised a brood last year ~~~ there were 2 babies. I have no idea where they are now although the other day we saw 3 of them together so...... They serenade us from that dead tree all the time. They live here with us.
But we love hawks as much as the songbirds.
My cousin has a wreath hanging on her front door & every single year a pair of wrens builds a nest in it & raises babies. Once the babies hatch, Kitty puts a sign out for all to see that they are not to come to the front door but instead to use the door to the garage.
I understand they build several nests & then choose one so we will see.....
