I would certainly hope for both of those. Yes, the osmanthus does grow here and I've always wanted to grow that...and I would welcome the viburnum also....could I be so lucky? I had one viburnum years ago, though a different one. Love white flowers and I'm nuts for anything fragrant I would be overjoyed as the other items they've left me don't suit me at all....lol..Two large camellias of the gaudy splotched bright rose pink type, those will go (wish they could have been white or palest pink). A couple of huge cotoneasters that would be a real pain to dig out. A couple of other little shrubs that have been so mangled through the years, that I've just cut them to the ground to see if I'll keep them or not. A lot of reseeding crocosmias that I figure will probably be chasmanthe and those will go also. I'm happy about the 'spread everywhere' alpine strawberries, the violets, the callas, wallflowers and what appears to be some type of geranium coming up around the foundation....and there is what must be a self sown buddleja (probably davidii) over in the tangle of brush and brambles. I googled leaves last night and finally gave up, deciding we will just have to wait for bloom...hoping you guys are right on the viburnum and osmanthus...thanks.
I could be wrong...
and.....
