Susan, are you planning to put in the beds yourself or have someone do the work for you? I ask because putting in new beds is WORK. I made two new ones last spring. I did all the work myself, fitting it in between the rest of my life. I planted over 400 daylilies. It took about two months to prepare the beds and then three weeks to plant everything.
I am not trying to discourage you, just give you an idea of what is in store,in an effort to help you plan.
