Well, 9'' of snow on top of the bed can only make those nutrients from the compost, coffee grounds and alfalfa meal seep down even more. Good thing I covered up my onion transplants (lying on the soil since the day after I put them in). I also planted some pea and spinach seeds, which I covered. At least it is supposed to be 50 on Sunday.
