What a nice podcast! I like annuals and would add Tithonia (Mexican sunflower) to your list. It's heat tolerant, drought tolerant, blooms all summer like gangbusters right up to a good hard freeze, and brings in the butterflies like crazy!!

Oh yeh, Dave, I've grown New Big Dwarf for quite a few years now. It's a great plant with a nice tasty tomato. Mine get a bit bigger than the expected 2ft tall but still top out around 3ft or so. Their foliage alone is beautiful, very short stems/branches with nice thick leaves. You're gonna love it!

Speaking of annuals, time to get moving and sow some more in the greenhouse.
