Highway 69, just past Kountz. If you are looking for the fields of Bluebonnets and Paintbush you won't find it in this part of the state. All but the last three pictures above were take in the ditch between the divided section of the highway. The last three with the Bluebonnets were on the right-hand side of the road in the southbound lane, coming home. I didn't even notice them until I got out of the car. I saw a hazy pinkish color and got out to investigate and there was a mixture of Bluebonnet, Paintbrush, Phox and Coreopsis, but it was a very small area.
