Those last pictures are really just the kind you need to try to get an I.D., the only thing missing, maybe ,is one that shows the base of the plant (that would show PBF). In this case ,we know it has it, 'cause Debra grows the same iris (and was the "donor"!). There is a discussion going on now on the HIPS board concerning an iris (maybe even two), that are VERY similar to this one, and there have been several "maybes" mentioned. Debra also "gifted" me with a start of this one last year (Thanks Deb !) and with any luck at all, I should have bloom this year, so I will continue to try for an I. D. I think it's going to be a toughie to get, because there are lots of " light yellow-cream" iris from that era. If anybody on the hips board has any insight ,I'll post here, but, so far, we're still grabbing at straws ,there, too.....Arlyn
