The plan for today was to get the raised beds for my daylilies (I have ordered) built. My husband did get most of that done. I added a small two layer one (today Shrug! ) to go around a red bud tree that he also did tho he doesn't have a lot of patience for flowers Glare . I cleaned out the flower beds around the deck.

Found a hosta that is dead in the middle. Posted about it on the hosta forum. Got some suggestions and am moving it tomorrow. Was planing on moving about four of them into the box that we did today around the red bud. Went to Lowes and bought top soil and quick start.

Cleared the grass then filled the box around the red bud (didn't buy enough top soil) Grumbling but tomorrow is Sunday and the sale at Menards for the landscaping tembers will be over so, ran back to Menards to buy more top soil and 20 more landscape tembers (just in case) I decide I need more raised beds Big Grin They were on sale for $.99 each, what can I say...

Getting them that cheep, I was able to talk hubby into a couple of other small projects Whistling All in all I feel like it was a productive day! It was really nice out side and after the horrible long winter it was heaven hard work or not. Thumbs up
