With all of the new 2014 blooms starting to come in from Utah, Texas, & California and else where, I wanted to make sure that everyone got an opportunity to see the wonderful pictures that I have been submitting to our database. I had done a recent search for a Cayeux iris and was dismayed to find we had no picture. I soon came to realize that we were missing quite a few of their introductions. So I took a chance and sent them an email asking if I could post their catalog pictures to our database. As we all know, a picture is far better at conveying what the flower is all about than a description can. To my surprise, they said yes!
I have limited my selection to those cultivars that do not have a picture in our database (two or three slipped by that had some pictures)
. I have started with 2012 introductions and have been working backwards.
All of these pictures are already in the database.
