That is a normal thing for me this time of the year, I have been cleaning the daylilies in the hybridizing boxes and have pulled off several yellow leaves on the very bottom. I also have scapes and buds even on the baby seedlings I planted Sept. 30 last fall which I did not expect because of the harsh winter and getting them planted so late.
