@CarolineScott Thanks so much. That's what I thought. We got here after some of them had already gone to seed, so I am with you that I might as well make use of the seed since they are there. I spent about 15 minutes yesterday digging up a large clump of daffodils that were far away from my wooded area and the only way they could have gotten there is from seed. The soil here is very rocky and once something establishes itself, you almost need a pick axe to remove it. We call a pick axe an Arkansas shovel.
