OK ELAINE! shame on you ( kidding).... there you are in sunny Fla. ...and here i am in slug city Ohio.. will try your suggestion for a warm spot 'tho.... i am ever hopeful for the Stuttgarts, and, in the meantime picked up 2 rhizomes of Tropicana (plan B )at a local nursery today where i could see 1st hand what i was getting this time ....and they are big, fat, rooted and budding (and now potted) so look out Stuttgart! As a gardener who reads up on all things green while he stares out at snow 5 mos. of the year, i have lists stuck all over the house of new hopefuls to try (always) and new plans, A thru Z, which i pore over...and over, and over again.
