If it is a sun loving plant and is in the shade it may not bloom.

Lilies can be moved by squirrels, come in on compost or transplants (gift plants from a neighbor or friend) or can also grow from seeds from other lilies you may have around your property. I also think it looks like that. But one thing I am sure of -- it is not Jacob's Ladder. My mom has some of that and yours is not it. So at least you can eliminate that one.
