Thanks for the "Welcome". Quite a few of my recent spring gardening searches brought me to this good looking forum.

PVC isn't exactly dirt cheap (depends on the dirt, right?) but still, for effect? Great for folks who want to recycle materials from jobs at the homestead to folks who just want to try something new and different.

The seed. It all starts there, or somewhere nearby. Feeling lucky to know a few folks who work excavation who might be able to provide "scrap". Think about who you know and what they do. Might be someone on your block or that attends your church that would be happy to let loose of what they might consider useless aka "scrap".

I've been in the landscape maintenance business most of my adult life. Mowed lawns and pulled weeds for money as a kid just the same. I see nothing but potential here, even with annuals. My shade garden is due for much renovation but It won't be complete without implementing this. I had a great talk with a local grower/vendor in his 80's recently and stressed how I learn/try new things every year. He clearly understood as I accidentally toured his massive garden.

What a great example! I've used shepherd's hooks and hanging baskets to add a splash of color where it was lacking or difficult, these PVC tubes will offer adjustable height and wind resistance that wasn't as easily controlled. I can't wait!

Pint-sized hostas where they won't be overtaken, crowded, or squashed? I tip my hat to you.
