I saw a spot of red color in the messy front garden. When I investigated I was rewarded with this:
Thumb of 2014-05-01/greene/f278a0

This plant has been happily growing without my knowledge hidden among some Cyperus involucratus/Umbrella sedge, a young palm tree (don't know which type) and the Lonicera sempervirens/a red honeysuckle inherited from my Mom.

I think it may be a Salvia greggii Autumn Sage but am not sure. The leaves and flowers are larger than the Salvia microphylla that I have.
