I am glad you clarified that you are a male! I had heard you were a female!
I feel the same way about Cubits as you do about mydaylilies. Except that I like that this cubit does not have the "friending" Facebook type thing... like I said I have not been to mydaylilies very many times, so don't take my comments to much to heart. At a couple years past fifty, I felt like the site is for people younger than I am. And, I was uncomfortable with having to sign in with my real name. I am not sure I want my real name out there for all to find who happen to stumble upon a web site. I discussed this with JP several times, and he said that you all really wanted people to use real names. So I never joined. I won't be buying, I won't be selling, so I don't see the point of anyone needing to know, just surfing the web, who I am.
Cubits has so much more to offer than GardenWeb, Dave's Garden, or even Tinkers. I like to think of Cubits as the AHS robin, with a more open mind, and with photos. And, I have just tapped in to what Dave has available here for Cubit owners. He's still building the site. There is a lot more to come here for us to add to our Cubits down the road... there is more available now that I am not using yet.
I didn't realize you were so new into daylilies! It is a wonderful hobby. I think it has been about 30 years now, that I have been growing them.... about 24 or 25 "seriously"....
