My love of the people at DG created the need for more. More Forum, More Chat, and free free free. I believe in people and so far they have not let me down. I also realized that especially here in Utah we are missing the younger generation. I hoped that mydaylilies.com will bridge that gap again for them to latch on to something main stream. With Cubits it also bridges that gap for more and free. And enables you to run to roses or bird watching all on the same website. How cool is that?
The real name thing is only for those that wish to be known in daylilies or to become a hybridizer. JP took it a little far but we where very new and still finding our way. Since then JP has stepped down from participating with the website and has removed himself from MyDaylilies.
If you wish to be Julia or Jewels or DaylilyLover I am ok with that. You can go to your profile and change your name anytime you wish. It is a very nice feature to be called anything you want. It makes no difference to me. Even one of the editors on www.daylilies.com is called by an aliases, "Beep! Beep!" or one of the featured members name is, "LaLaLand" Ann is still known as Farmerbell and April is TroubleX2. Which I see she still loves to win prizes!
Rocks have a purpose in lanscape design. So does daylilies and peonies too. Which reminds me I have a wholesale shipment coming in and have a few extra ioth "Border Charm" peonies for sale for $15 Regular $42 plus shipping. Shipping within the next 10 days. It is my CO-OP for today. I also can do CO-OP Garden Markers once a year if you want to start that too.
