I know there's a lot of bird lovers on this forum and I thought this was too cool of an article not to share. I'm not much of a bird person myself, but I do have a thing about introduced (and especially invasive) species having an effect on natives. And I think the scientists' solution to this problem was just so clever and I like how they do it without disturbing the birds. Check it out - deadly parasitic maggots versus the goldfinches!
