Spring is so late here the crocus would come up and it would snow on them, temps would drop and ruin the blooms, the daffs and tulips would come up and it would snow on them, the blooms last such a short while and then you are stuck with the foliage, and whenever I wanted to plant something else, I found myself digging into the bulbs so it just wasn't worth it. Grumbling
