If you had an abnormally long, cold winter it may just be late breaking dormancy - don't worry about it yet. Perhaps it would be best to just put it in a big pot where you can keep a close eye on it and move it around until you decide on the best spot to plant. Keep it adequately watered but don't give it fertilizer or anything until it starts actively growing. Good luck!
