I haven't been over to our rental house in a long time and I bet the fence is covered with Smilax vines by now because our tenants just don't seem to have time for gardening or yard work. My husband goes over on occasion to trim the palm trees and yank the virginia creeper vines from the side of the house but the yard has gone down hill in the two years we've rented the house out. It was stated in the lease that the tenants were responsible for yard work and they bought a lawn mower but I guess they are so busy they just don't find the time to mow. There's an irrigation system that doesn't cost them a thing since it's from a well; and it's on a timer yet they've never used it; the lawn is dead and all that's left is sand and weeds. Sad When we go to sell that house in a couple of years we're going to have a lot of work to do on the curb appeal before listing it!
