I bought this one last year at a garden club sale, labeled as 'light blue dwarf iris'. Actually it may not have said anything other than "light blue" ...
It opened for the first time today, boy was I pleased. Not what I expected but oh so nice! Think I need to risk buying more NOIDs. It is the first to open in my garden so far, I have one other (also a NOID) that has two blooms but it is against the rock retaining wall that gets lots of sun.

The leaves are about 4 inches tall and the blooms are maxing out at 5 inches high. (we had some torrential rain before I got home...petals may have been pounded a bit)

Based on a pic posted over in "Bloom is busting out all over" I think it may be 'Dollop'. Any opinions?
If we had no holes in our leaves we would have no butterflies!
