You'll enjoy them Dave, they're much livelier than H. Fulva. Quite a few folks have them along my Mom's street (in the city section between the sidewalks and street). They fit in perfectly with the historic homes and not so historic homes as well. I think they're beautiful flowers, a very cheery clump.

My specimen is doing fine where I planted it and I'd hoped for the rampant root multiplication I was warned about but so far it's content with it's 3'x3' area. On the other hand, and other side of the shed is a Fulva I cannot control. I've dug it out several times and it just keeps reappearing. Trying to make sure the roots don't intertwine with "Lilting Belle" which was a better choice for the location. Only mildly annoying but I don't want it. Easy enough to differentiate both by leaves and scapes, I'll keep chopping away LOL.

Haven't paid much attention this year but if it has indeed stretched it's legs I'll take some pics but this Kwanzo has been pretty obedient over the past 5 years.
