For those of you not on the mother robin.... here is a post I made today.

I was at a friend's house a few days ago, and Curt stopped in to have dinner with us on his way south to Birmingham. He had his new catalog with him. Once again, another outstanding group of flowers! I remember seeing many of them in the garden during the selection process. I don't have a clue when the website will be updated, as I don't think that work has been started. However, the catalogs are printed and should be arriving shortly if you are on his mailing list.

Inside the front cover is a lovely photo of Curt's dog Hex.

The sculptural forms that Curt works with are so much fun. I have quite a few of his past intros that are cristated, pleated or relief. And several seedlings of my own. I'm not sure which type of sculpting I prefer - I like them all. I am also a huge fan of the sculpts that pleat so much the petals stand straight up, and curl around forming a tube-like structure. I've heard people say that they don't open right - but they do open for that type of form. Curt's 'Nude Yoga' would be one example of what I am talking about. It was on the cover of his 2010 catalog.

Having so much snow this winter.... spring cannot come soon enough!

This seeding of mine (a cross of two Hanson's) has the extreme pleating that rolls back and forms a tube. Wish I could post this on the mother robin - but no photos there!

If my photos were better organized, I could find a photo of Nude Yoga.....
