Yes the Trade Name, where one exists, will be displayed in lieu of the cultivar name. Carnation (Dianthus caryophyllus SuperTrouperâ„¢ Silver Pink) is a good example of why we do it that way. The cultivar name is 'KLEDP07093', and we see that cultivar names are often not listed on the plant tag. Instead the Trade name (Trade designation) is. This is fairly common today. Typically a trade name will trademarked or, as in the Dianthus example, the series will be.

In the case of Rudbeckia 'Herbstsonne', since Autumn Sun is either a newer, and therefor invalid, cultivar name or a non-trademarked trade designation, I'm going to move it to the Also sold as field.
