Pineapple lilies are another fun 'summer' addition. I wasn't sure if mine were going to come back but I lifted up a foxglove leaf that was covering the spot where the plant was last year and lo and behold there are pineapple lilies coming up!
We were also thrilled that most of our gingers came back after this hard winter. It took them until about two weeks ago to come up, but up they are!
