When my son bought his farm we dug up lots of plants from his other house. He made fun of me because there were dozens of them growing in his beds so I dug some up and transplanted, knowing full well they may not make it. It was already late spring/early summer. Surprisingly they all made it! I think it was just to show him! Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

But normally I wouldn't recommend trying to move a mature plant.

I do find little babies all over if you don't weed too early and recognize them.
