The Kau Desert, Hawaii (Zone 12a)
Kalanchoe thyrsifolia... easy to start from cuttings. leave 2 inches of the stem on the large growth... let the cut heal it for 1-2 days and put it in a 3 inch pot of well drained soil mix. The remaining plant may sprout more, not likely but worth thing while waiting for the small shoot to grow big enough to cut.
