Finally tried some of the pot-runneth-over lettuce on Saturday. We had guests over for a seafood boil, grill cookout and fireworks, and most of the hamburger folks wanted some for their burgers. It was so good that I munched on the leftovers throughout the evening...plain! Big Grin I didn't get any harvested this morning, but I'm definitely going to bring a bunch in tomorrow.

Managed to get six pepper plants planted out this morning, and all but one of my tomato plants are done. Hurray! The mulched and largely weed-free areas are now pretty much full, so I'll have to work a bit harder for any additional plantings. Rolling my eyes.
